An India Pale Ale style well suited for Hemingway-esque trips to the Upper Peninsula. American Malts, and enormous hop additions give this beer a crisp finish and an incredibly floral hop aroma.

Tasting Notes:
First off. let me say "Happy Birthday!" to my wife, my love and my best friend - Courtenay! The beer o' the day is a nod to her and her recent turning of the corner (beer wise). The taste for IPA's came on quite suddenly and, frankly it sits quite fine with me :). We can credit the almighty Bell's Hop Slam as the beer that converted her and we're a few weeks away from the annual release of that so this is the best most appropriate replacement until that day arrives. Pours orange with a slight haze and a generous off-white head.  Smells incredible.  Heavy citrus, orange blossom and an array of floral scents. If i had to pick a beer to bathe in, this would be it.  A creamy, vanilla-like malt bone that holds all the pine, citrus and floral together. the most drinkable 7% on the market from one of my hands down top 10 favorite beers, ever. P.S. as good as the bottled version is, the mini-keg/draught is another level of awesomeness.
