Mother Earth Brewing Co.
Kinston, North Carolina

Sisters of the Moon

Style: American IPA
Availability: Year Round (approximate release statewide retail date is tentatively set for mid Feb. 2010)
Format: 12oz - 6pk
ABV: 6.9%

Bottle text & Info:
Made with hops grown in the good 'ol USA... you'll proudly support American farmers when you drink this beer! Light copper in color, it has an intense hop aroma and strong hop bitterness. Our hopback process uses fresh hop cones to take this IPA to unexpected places. Prepare for a mouthful of flavor.

Tasting Notes:
Pours a hazy orangish light amber with a half inch thick ivory head. clings to the glass a nice thick body. Grassy nose with some fruit; most noticeably mango followed by some papaya. An extremely herbal/grassy IPA with some nice citrus notes. Definitely a welcome addition to the state and the best bottled IPA to date. Some definite sweet malts to hold it together. Hops are there but nothing that peels the enamel off your teeth. A solid stepping stone IPA and another solid offering from the east side of I-95.
