Bottle text & Info
The Triple, is a strong, full bodied Abby-style ale. The authentic Belgian yeast strain used during fermentation contributes to a rich array of spicy, phenolic and fruit like flavors with noticeable alcoholic warmth. This unfiltered ale has an irresistable pale orange colored hazy glow.

Tasting Notes:

Pours an opaque, glowing orange with little to no white head. swirl and admire the tight carbonation. nice. smells of bananas (hello wheat malt) and spice. Typical flavors from belgian yeast at the front; coriander, clove, apricot and apple spice on the finish. Incredibly light body. This beer is dangerous. super light, super delicious, super smooth with the alcohol masked well. This beer is everything i love about triples. Fruity yet dry, nicely spiced with perfect carbonation. So many american replications of belgians tend to exaggerate certain characteristics of belgian yeast (candy, bubble gum, fig etc.). Although this one isn't on par with the best of belgian (Westmalle and such) it stands in my eye the best that the U.S. has to offer in belgian replication. well worth the hefty price tag: about $15 a 6pk.
